Music has always played an important role in the problem of migrant justice. The government can limit people’s behavior by those rules, but it is difficult for them to limit this kind of “cutural production”. Music is hard to restricted, and once it is been heard, it would spread quickly. Moreover, music also expresses their opinions and ideas easily. It gives people opportunity to speak freely. The lyrics of the music also shows people attitude without the understanding of the words. Korea’s rapid economic growth made the number of migrant workers increase rapidly. However, the Korean government was afraid of the voices of the migrant workers. Minu, a Nepali cultural activitist, was banned from Korea for ten years. Even though he could not be with the other migrant workers in Korea, he also made a lots of songs close to the lives of migrant workers in Nepal to encourage. He tried to use his songs to give some power to those workers and encourage them. This situation is similar to the case in Goffe’s passage. The Chinese workers in Jamaica also used music to express their opinions and attitudes. They also used the music to communicate to the local people over the boundary of languages.
